Dr. Mehwish Saif, MD, LMCC, CCFP

We are proud to welcome Dr. Mehwish Saif to our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Dr. Saif is a fully licensed Canadian Family Physician, holding both the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) — ensuring the highest standards of medical care.

Dr. Saif brings a diverse blend of international and Canadian experience to her practice. She earned her medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University and began her career in Saudi Arabia, where she worked for four years at one of Jubail’s largest and most reputable hospitals after obtaining licensure through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

After relocating to Canada, Dr. Saif completed her Family Medicine residency at Western University, gaining extensive experience within the Canadian healthcare system. Her multicultural background allows her to provide well-rounded, culturally sensitive, and patient-centered care to individuals and families of all ages.

Dr. Saif is especially passionate about caring for families, children, and seniors, and is a strong advocate for youth health and wellbeing in the community. Her approachable and empathetic style fosters long-term, trusting relationships with her patients.

Clinical Interests:

  • Preventive Health: Early detection and lifestyle interventions to prevent chronic illness and reduce disease risk.

  • Women’s Health: Contraception counselling, prenatal care, menstrual and hormonal health, and menopause management.

  • Pediatrics: Comprehensive care for children and support for parents in raising healthy, happy kids.

  • Geriatrics: Individualized, respectful care promoting healthy aging and quality of life.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Saif remains active in medical research, with experience at both William Osler Health System and Western University. She regularly attends conferences and professional development programs to stay current in the evolving field of Family Medicine.

Dr. Tehmina Rashid, MBBS, LMCC, CCFP, MRCGP

Dr. Tehmina Rashid is an experienced and compassionate family physician dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care. She obtained her medical degree from Nishtar Medical University, Pakistan, and completed a Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

Dr. Rashid completed her postgraduate training in Family Medicine in the United Kingdom, where she became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). She also holds Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) and Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Rashid has been actively involved in teaching and medical education. She has taught advanced pathophysiology and pharmacology courses at Trent University, Canada, and holds a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) certification from McMaster University.

Her areas of special interest include Women’s Health, Preventive Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management.

Dr. Saad Yasin, MBBS, LMCC, MRCGP, CCFP, FCFP, DRCOG, DFSRH, DOccMed

Dr. Saad Yasin is an experienced and compassionate family physician with over 20 years of experience in Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his Family Medicine training (GPVTS) in East Anglia, United Kingdom.

During his time in the UK, Dr. Yasin obtained several advanced qualifications, including:

  • Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP)

  • Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG)

  • Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH)

  • Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed)

  • Certificate in Medical Acupuncture (BMAS)

After moving to Calgary, Canada in 2012, Dr. Yasin obtained the Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP). In recognition of his excellence in family medicine, teaching, clinical care, health advocacy, and leadership, he was later awarded the Fellowship of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (FCFP).

Dr. Yasin is actively involved in medical education, serving as Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary.

His areas of special interest include Primary Prevention, Chronic Disease Management, and Women’s Health. He provides personalized care in contraception, menstrual disorders, and infertility counseling and education. He offers office-based procedures, including IUD and subdermal implant insertion and endometrial biopsy. Dr. Yasin also provides prenatal care up to 20 weeks for low-risk pregnancies.

He is dedicated to empowering patients through education, prevention, and compassionate, evidence-based care.
